4年目に突入のCategory Trance、

ゲストDJとして、香港のイベントプランナー「RaveMasterz」の主宰KVM、そしてCategory Tranceは2回目の登場、日本のトランスミュージックプロデューサー N-sKingを迎えての開催となります。

KVM

Hailing from France, Karl discovered Trance at the age of 15 and became passionate with it. For many years, he travelled to festivals/parties across Europe and then in Asia to meet like-minded individuals, see his favorite DJs live and dance till sunrise. It was only a matter of time before he felt compelled to swap places from the front row to behind the decks as KVM. He started off in Hong Kong at Rave Mama’s events before playing regularly at ESCAPE and his own party group’s RaveMasterz events as well as other underground events across Hong Kong.

While firmly rooted in Trance, KVM is better known for his uncompromising love of the harder/faster spectrum of the genre, as well as for other fast paced energetic genres such as Hard House, Hard Dance and Full On/Goa Psy-Trance.

N-sKing

2019年からDriving、Energetic StyleのTrance Musicを中心に制作を開始、国内外問わず多くのDJから支持を集めている。

2020年にState Control Recordsから海外初トラック、「Crimson Crisis」をリリースし、Paul Van Dykからサポートを獲得し、強烈な海外デビューとなった。 

その後も、活動の幅を広げていき、2021年にはSean TyasのレーベルであるRegenerateやEnhanced (DS-R)、Reason Ⅱ Rise MusicにZYXといったレーベルからリリース、Andrew Rayel、Giuseppe Ottaviani、Photographer, Ⅶ Crew Radio等から手厚いサポートを獲得した。更に2023年にはMetta & GlydeのレーベルであるOne Forty Musicから「Started a Fire」をリリースし、Beatport Trance Hype Chartにおいて1位を1週間獲得することを達成し更に注目を浴びる。 

また2022年～2023年にかけてはUplifting Tranceの制作以外にも、Infrasonic RecordingsのA&R、Podcast Hostを務めたり、Progressive Trance/Houseの制作も並行して行っている。Progressive Trance/HouseではAVA Recordings、Interplay Recordsといったレーベルからリリースをし、こちらの方面での支持も徐々に広まっている。

日本国内のみならず、世界中で、最も勢いのあるTrance DJ/プロデューサーの一人であるに違いない。

N-sKing began producing in 2019 with a focus on Driving and Energetic Style Trance Music and has gained support from many DJs both domestically and internationally. 

In 2020, he released his first international track, “Crimson Crisis” on State Control Records, which earned support from Paul Van Dyk and a strong international debut.  

Since then, he has continued to expand his activities, releasing in 2021 on labels such as Sean Tyas’ Regenerate label, Enhanced (DS-R), Reason II Rise Music and ZYX, Andrew Rayel, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Photographer, VII Crew Radio, and others. In 2023, “Started a Fire” was released on Metta & Glyde’s One Forty Music label and spent a week at #1 on the Beatport Trance Hype Chart, further garnering attention. 

In addition to producing Uplifting Trance, he will be A&R and podcast host for Infrasonic Recordings from 2022 to 2023, as well as producing Progressive Trance/House. His Progressive Trance/House releases have been on labels such as AVA Recordings and Interplay Records, and he is gradually gaining support in this area as well.  

He is one of the most active Trance DJ/producers not only in Japan but also in the world.

TORUKK（トルック）

Trance DJ, Producer, Organizer。

2018年11月よりDJ活動開始。or Tokyoでのオーガナイズイベント「Category Trance」、WOMBでのレギュラーイベント「Trance Essentials」などTrance系のイベントを中心に出演。

また、日本だけでなく海外にも活動の場を広げており、2023年9月には香港でRaveMasterz主催の「The Wave」、2024年2月にはイギリス・ロンドンのCyberdog、Cyberdog Rave Barに出演を果たした。

プロデューサーとしては、2020年11月に、イギリスのトランスレーベル「Interflow records」と契約し、オリジナル楽曲「Gaia」をリリース。

Interflow records内のサブレーベル「Aural Sonic 138」のBeatportランキングにおいて、1位にランクイン。

2021年5月には、Interflow recordsのレーベルオーナー”Matthias Bishop”の楽曲「Celebration(Tribute to Cyril Ryaz)」のリミックスをリリース。

また、RockRiverRecordsとも契約し、2022年4月にAki Harunariの楽曲「New Horizon」のリミックスをリリース。

2023年1月には、自身のレーベルEVT Recordings より、「Spaceship Party」をリリース。

ドイツのラジオ曲「JennyFm」にて、’Massive Track Alarm’に選ばれる。

2023年9月に、ドイツのトランスレーベル「Redux Recordings」と契約し、オリジナル楽曲「Freyja」を2023年11月3日にリリース。

オーガナイザーとしては、2021年4月より、自身が主催するトランスイベント「Category Trance」をor Tokyo、渋谷WOMBにて開催。

「Category Trance」に関しては、Trance DJに挑戦したい新しいDJを積極的にアサインする方針で運営しており、本イベント出演をきっかけに他イベントにも出演するDJも複数人現れ始めており、日本のTrance界隈を盛り上げるべく開催を続けている。
